Pakistan to host South Africa before ICC Women’s T20 World Cup
In preparation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, South Africa’s women’s cricket team is scheduled to visit Pakistan in the third week of September. The tour will feature three T20 matches between Pakistan and South Africa, with all games set to be held in Multan.
Following the series, both teams will travel together to Dubai, where the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is set to commence on 3rd October.
The tour will serve as a crucial preparation period for both national women’s teams, with Pakistan’s squad beginning their training camp in Multan on 1st September.
In a key team update, Nida Dar has been replaced by Fatima Sana as the captain of the Pakistan women’s team. Pakistan will kick off their World Cup campaign against Sri Lanka on 3rd October.
The tournament will conclude with the final match scheduled for 20th October.
